A view in a composite ruby

An abundance of gas bubbles can be seen in this composite ruby with blue flashes in the background, creating eye-catching colour contrast. Composite ruby means heavily fractured stone filled with glass, the glass is significantly more than the ruby itself. It is also possible with many tiny pieces of ruby assemble together with glass. This type of material can't be considered a natural ruby.
