Amethyst
Amethyst is a stone with wide and long history. It was highly appreciated in Egypt, especially in intaglio. Greeks believe it helps from intoxication. They carved a wine goblets from amethyst because they because it considered as antidote for drunkeness. Before discovering of Amethyst mines in Brazil, it was one of the "Cardinal Gems", together with ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond, considered to be more precious above all others. Today, amethyst is the most valuable among all quartz varieties.
Care & Clean Guide
Avoid exposure to heat and any contact with chemicals. To clean, use mild soap water and a soft brush. Ultrasonic cleaner is usually safe, but steam cleaner could be risky.
