  • Gemological testing revealed characteristics consistent with those of Natural Padparadscha Sapphire from:

  • Sri Lanka mines produce fancy sapphire since ancient times, it has been well established by 1292, when Marco Polo first landed the Gem Island. To this day, it is still one of the most prominent fancy sapphire producers in the world.

  • As the general colorless corundum formula is Aluminium Oxide, the presence of trace elements will provide its color. In this stone the presence of chromium and iron produce the orange color.

One of the most important criteria for a gemstone's quality is its color.
