  • Gemological testing revealed characteristics consistent with those of Natural Fancy Sapphire from:
  • CountrySri Lanka
  • Sri Lanka mines produce fancy sapphire since ancient times, it has been well established by 1292, when Marco Polo first landed the Gem Island. To this day, it is still one of the most prominent fancy sapphire producers in the world.

  • The 10.13 carat natural fancy sapphire, as described in this report, possesses an alluring color primarily characterized by purple, complemented by a violetish hue, earning it the color term "Lavender". Beyond its color, this gemstone has very good lustre. Given its untreated state and the combination of outstanding characteristics, it is worth our special mention.
